Euler maintenance (May 2019)

CSCS informed us that the data center will be undergoing a cooling maintenance on Wednesday 22 May 2019, which will require a complete shutdown of Euler.

 The Euler cluster will be OFFLINE from 15:00 on Tuesday, 21 May 2019

until the evening of Thursday, 23 May 2019.

As usual, batch queues will be inactivated prior to the maintenance to ensure that no jobs get killed when the cluster is shut down. Short jobs can still run until the the cluster is offline. There is no action required on your part.

The cluster is being opened up but the batch queues remain INACTIVE as we continue to power on and test compute nodes.
