Introduction

The HPC group organises an Euler introductory workshop for ETH students and academic staff. Please sign up here, as the spots for the workshop are attributed on the first-come-first-served basis. Anyone signed up after the 50th participant will be moved to a waiting list for the next instalment of the workshop.

Location

Central campus, IFW A 36

Time

Wednesday, November 13th 2024, 13:00 - 16:00

Content

  • Accessing the cluster
  • Storage and data transfer
  • Modules and applications
  • The batch system

The bulk of the workshop takes approximately 2h. We plan for a 15-min coffee break before attacking the batch system section. However, from experience, the workshop always takes a bit longer due to questions and demonstrations. All questions are welcome and we can show you any additional service that you may want to use on Euler.

Please bring your laptop - all of the examples can be run from your user account.
