License server interruption (13 August 2024)

The central license administration of ETH Zurich informed us that due to a maintenance window on 13 August 2024, there will be

service interruptions for the license servers between 21:00 and midnight

which affect commercial software that required a license. Batch jobs that try to checkout licenses during this timeframe might get a timeout. If the timeout is not too long, then the job might survive.
