Description

Xpdf is an open source viewer for Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

Interactive session

In order to run xpdf on the Euler cluster, you need to connect with SSH, having X11 forwarding enabled. After logging in to Euler, you can start xpdf with the command xpdf
module load xpdf/3.03
xpdf my_document.pdf
If you would like to use the shell for some other purpose, then you can also start xpdf in the background.

Example

As an example for opening a PDF document on the cluster, we are having a look at the BOT of IT services.
